Join the Carbon Footprint Challenge 2017

Humanity must halt the rise in atmospheric CO2 levels! Join the Carbon Footprint Challenge 2017 and collaboratively develop your ideas to reduce industrial CO2 footprint with technical solutions and have a chance to win CHF 10.000!

How does it work?

• January 9: Registration

   

Sign up and submit your ideas!

• January 23: Open collaboration

Form teams by bringing in your friends or find people with relevant skills on the platform. Develop your ideas collaboratively!

• March 6: End of Round 1

The best ideas move on to round 2.

• March 19: End of Round 2

The best teams will be invited to our two-day final event.

• April 19 - 20: Final event

A two day final event with extensive coaching, outstanding speakers and the big final pitch in front of the grand jury.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for your ideas for technical solutions to decrease carbon footprint in industrial processes and products. You should be a university student but otherwise your background does not matter to us. Also, the idea-team creator must have full ownership of the idea.

However, you don't need to have an idea ready, instead it is also an option to see where in which teams you can make your skills work by browsing the teams still looking for members. Or just provide your feedback to others, the choice is all yours.

We are not looking for fully elaborated business plans, ready prototypes or ideas that are already being commercialized. Instead, you can enter submit your idea by creating an “idea team” at any stage of development.
