VIETNAM YOUTH SLAM 2017: OPENING SUBMISSION!(caption Tiếng Việt ở dưới)   Greetings fellow writers, As the summer kicks off, Vietnam Youth Slam 2017 is well underway. This year we aim to gather and celebrate Slam Libré, a twist on Vers Libre and its experimental nature. We aim to uphold Slam as an expressive form of freedom, free as in forms and content, in verses of unconstrained rhyming schemes and in opinions. Let poetry be unbounded by immaterial rules and decorum, be instigating and unapologetic (there should be no Kanyesium if-i-instigated-i-am-sorry.)

One final word from Mr. Michael Palmer, "and poetry an enemy of the state of things." Same as last year vibes and for always, we aim to incite change.Entries for Vietnam Youth Slam 2017: Slam Libré are open throughout June 5th, 2017 to July 3rd, 2017.

 Outstanding submissions are then chosen to be performed on Slam Night in Hanoi this mid-July.GUIDELINES

1. Performers can submit both original and collected works, preferably their own writing however. Also, collected works need to be credited to the author.
2. VYS is going to compile chosen submissions into an anthology in form of e-book. Therefore, submitters who are unable to perform at the event can still find a platform for their work.
3. The session welcomes all potential writers regardless of age, nationality, location, and occupation.
4. Chosen entries will be notified within a week after the deadline via email.

PERKS

1. Best Performance, Best Composer (for written works only) and Favorite Performance are to be awarded at the conclusion of the event.
2. Commendable performers will receive certificates acknowledging their contributions.

Năm nay chúng tôi mong muốn tụ họp và kỷ niệm Slam Libré, một cách chơi chữ từ Vers Libré, và tính chất thử nghiệm của nó.

Chúng tôi muốn duy trì Slam như một tiếng nói của tự do, tự do trong hình thức lẫn nội dung, trong sự phối hợp vần điệu phóng khoáng và cả trong quan điểm.

1. Thí sinh có thể gửi các tác phẩm cá nhân (khuyến khích) hoặc sưu tầm. Với các tác phẩm sưu tầm, yêu cầu ghi rõ tên tác giả.
2. VYS sẽ tổng hợp các tác phẩm được chọn thành một tuyển tập thơ dưới dạng e-book. VÌ vậy những thí sinh không thể tham dự sự kiện vẫn có thể gửi tác phẩm tới.
3. Cuộc thi không giới hạn độ tuổi, quốc tịch, nơi ở và nghề nghiệp đối với thí sinh.
4. Các tác phẩm được chọn sẽ được thông báo trong vòng một tuần kể từ hạn nộp qua email.

QUYỀN LỢI CỦA THÍ SINH

1. Phần trình diễn xuất sắc nhất, Tác phẩm xuất sắc nhất (dành cho các tác phẩm cá nhân) và Phần trình diễn được yêu thích nhất sẽ nhận được phần thưởng từ BTC ở cuối chương trình.
2. Các thí sinh có phần trình diễn xuất săc sẽ nhận được giấy chứng nhận của BTC.
3. Khán giả đến tham gia chương trình có cơ hội nhận được các món quà nhỏ từ chương trình.
4. Đến tham dự với chương trình, mọi người có cơ hội tiếp cận môi trường văn học nói, được rèn luyện khả năng tiếng Anh và giao lưu với nhiều người có chung sở thích.
