A limited number of scholarships for Summer School study are available at Shandong University. China Studies International Summer School provides “China Studies” courses plus a series of lectures.

China Studies Program is Shandong University’s interdisciplinary and international master’s program. Its global focus includes China’s history as well as diversified study areas of contemporary China.

Shandong University is a public comprehensive university in Shandong, China. It is one of the largest universities in China by student population and is supported directly by the national government.

Course Level: CSISS2017 provides “China Studies” courses plus a series of lectures.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of China Studies.

Scholarship Award:

Mingde Scholarship

• Mingde Scholarship A: 100% of program fees
• Mingde Scholarship B: 50% of program fees
• Mingde Scholarship C: 20% of program fees*

Academic Excellence Award

• Academic Excellence Award A: 1000 RMB
• Academic Excellence Award B: 500 RMB
• Academic Excellence Award C: 300 RMB

Number of Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships for Summer School study are available. Currently, SDU Center of China Studies offers Mingde Scholarship and Academic Excellence Award. The Mingde Scholarship will be determined upon admission and the Academic Excellence Award will be evaluated based on participants’ performance during the summer school period.

Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in a college/university with at least one semester of attendance are eligible to apply.

Nationality: Citizens of all nationalities are eligible to apply.
