The Australian National University’s Asia Pacific Week is an interdisciplinary conference aimed at high-achieving students from around the world who have an interest in Asia and the Pacific. Now in its seventh year, the 2017 conference explores the theme of ‘A Changing Landscape’.
Bringing together 80 of the best students from across the globe, the 2017 conference continues the tradition of bringing together scholars, policymakers and senior officials of the highest calibre for a week of stimulating discussion and debate. As a delegate you will have the opportunity to not only hear from peak experts, but to engage in interactive panels, debates and simulations. The next generation of Asia-Pacific specialists leave with a network of friends and contacts from across the globe.
The 2017 conference will be held from 25 – 30 June 2017 at the Australian National University.
Food and accommodation will be covered by organizers. The scholarship will provide a lump sum amount to help with covering some of the costs incurred in flights and visa application.
Note: It must be noted that the scholarship is not guaranteed to cover ALL costs incurred in flights and visa application. However, the APW committee is committed to helping delegates who are financially disadvantaged to the best of their abilities. Accommodation and food will be covered during the conference for all delegates.
