Established in 2013, Vietnam Summer School of Science is an annual, free and non-profit activity under an initiative to inspire younger generations pursuing research. Throughout the schools, participants will be equipped with basic knowledge about science, research and integrity toward contributing to the development of Vietnam.

We proudly invite you to participate in one of our best schools so far over 5 years, which will be held in one of the best beach cities in Vietnam under the Rencontres du Vietnam Foundation.

ELIGIBILITY

To apply for the program, you must:

• Be between 15 to 35 years old; and
• Be either an undergraduate student, a graduate, a high school pupil, a lecturer or a researcher ( who does NOT hold any doctoral degree)
• Be passionate about science and research
• Have a good studying record
• Have a certain research experience (not mandatory)

In order to join the summer school, you are required to submit an application for our consideration. The application form consists of:

• A resume with portrait photo attached
• A cover letter explaining how you love research and fit our program
• An online information form

STEPS TO APPLY

Step 1: Check if you satisfy our selection criteria.

Step 2: Make sure you have enough funding to travel to Quy Nhon from your residential address.

Step 3: Prepare required documentation and submit before the deadline:

1. A resume with portrait photo attached (mandatory)
2. A cover letter explaining how you love research and fit our program (mandatory)
3. An online information form (mandatory)

Who needs financial support must submit a letter and proof demonstrating why he/she needs supported. Only a few travel grants will be awarded to the most outstanding but needy student.

Step 4: Deposit a small amount of money to secure your seat. We will refund later once you get to the summer school.

Note: Letter for requesting financial aid is only for the applicants who need financial support from the committee. If you don’t require this support, just ignore it.
