  1. ASSISTANT MANAGER, SALES

Job Descriptions

  • To build a quality and brand building sales account network (Multi brands/WS customers) that is capable of generating sales volume and meeting assigned targets. This sales position also must strive to support adidas vision to become the best sports brand in Vietnam

Primary Accountabilities

  • Developing sales plans/strategy at dedicated accounts that in line company business plan/strategy and beating the competition in the market place
  • Strenthening WS model that ensures not only enable to capture footprints in trade but also in line brand strategy and promote adidas brand health in the market place
  • Managing sales accounts in an efficient, effective, and profitable manner
  • Developing & enhancing long term business partnership/relationship with customers/mall projectors
  • Ensuring that budgets, distribution, share of buy, share of space and visibility are in line with company expectation

 Secondary Accountatbilities

  • Provide sales forecast, drive sales volume to meet the agreed targets, execute & follow up each season’s future order sales/shipping plan, manages A/R, maintain comprehensive understanding of each season’s product flow, and update forecast figures consistently and periodically.  Ensure that sales team understand product flow, as well as micro & macro selling points (product v. range). Develop & maintain an in-dept awareness of inventory structure. Follow-up sales call.
  • Develop excellent long term partnership and relationship with all customers. Work closely with them to maximize business growth potential. Expand customer base by studying and exploring new possibilities to extend the market coverage, and maximize sales & profit potentials
  • Report to Commercial Manager on market intelligence information such as market movement & trends, competitor’s activities, customer feedback, and etc. on a continually basis, and recommend all necessary actions to Commercial manager
  • Manage sales campaign and programs effectively. Communicate and coordinate sales development with Trade Marketing Team on a regular basis. Manage trade marketing processes regarding retail development requirements. Develop strong & positive work relationship between sales team and other department
  • Provide strong leadership for horizontal as well as vertical reports. Work with HR to build and develop the best sales team in the sports industry. Take ownership of sales account team: identify strengths and weaknesses of team. Set development plan. Participate actively in all training and development initiatives and activities. Identify future leaders.  Provide coaching and support to enhance their work performance.  Insist on and lead by example – a clean sales team. Drive operation excellence on the retail segment. Drive sales and profit to its’ full potential

Job Descriptions

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

  • Fully accountable for development, commercialization, product integrity, manufacturability, Create to Value (CTV), performance to target FOB of a selection of product within a category

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and commercialization process of assigned products in collaboration with Tier 1 factory personnel and technical teams.  Provides specific technical expertise to ensure effective transition of footwear design into samples and production while ensuring the manufacturability, material selection, material standards, development timeline and cost to target are met
  • Supervise the direct development process between Headquarter/Creation Center Project Management and Tier 1 factory ensuring that Create to Value approach and product integrity is at the paramount priority and focus
  • Supervise junior development staffs in continuous upgrades of technical applications and processes and implementation of new technology in development and engineering
  • Manage junior team member and/or factory direct developer and contribute considerably to the achievement of team objectives
  • Operationally, account for development/commercialization area with predefined scope of responsibilities

  1. MANAGER PRODUCT COSTING ENGINEER A&G

Job Descriptions

  • Support the evolution of the global Accessory & Gear (A&G) costing framework
  • Safeguard accuracy of standard minute value data provided by suppliers through standardized auditing process (derived from GSD system)
  • Identify business improvement areas and facilitation of appropriate working methods to improve supplier efficiency and production time
  • Execute an efficient SMV (Standard Minute Value) auditing process through the development and education of defined processes and tools
  • Train, educate and elevate knowledge level of suppliers and A&G Sourcing team

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside our suppliers to create, define and standardize the operations and style features commonly used in building our product range
  • Utilizing GSD, specify recommended/expected methods/SMV’s used in performing these operations
  • Establish GSD within our LO’s (Liaise office) as the basis of price negotiations and pre-costing
  • Maintain and update the global database as technology/style features evolve
  • Play a leading role in resolving any disputes relating to SMV’s (collaborating with all global stakeholders, mainly SMV suppliers and adidas Development teams)
  • Consolidate costing data across the vertical teams and suppliers to make sure everyone is aligned and achieving consistent results
  • Evolve costing tools, GSD database and costing standards appropriate to the LO
