Job Descriptions

Category Strategy with customer and business planning

  • “Using Unilever brands to grow our retailer’s categories” mindse
  • Lead the delivery of Turnover, Market Share and Perfect Store scores for a given customer and category(s) within allocated budgets (TTS, A&P etc)
  • Drive the execution of all promotions and activation within the given customer for given categories. Prepare implementation plan for customer

Main Job Purpose

  • To lead a team to deliver local security solutions aligned to Group Security standards, procedures and guidance
  • To safeguard the wellbeing of our consumers, customers and employees, enable future opportunities and ensure our essential services and commercial interests are not compromised

Key Duties

  • Assist in maintaining staffing levels and ensure these are maintained according to the SLAs at all times
  • Work closely with other service providers to ensure effective end-to-end process for business, utilizing and directing the security team in their duties that they carry out
  • Raise concerns on staffing issues to site management
  • Conduct security investigations as directed
  • Assist in the effective communication and training of the team, so that the service level agreements are met in communicating health and safety to all personnel and visitors entering the site
  • Ensure that all incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with Group Security Guidance and procedures
  • Act as a central point of contact for the security team
  • Monitor the maintenance of the security systems and co-ordinate any necessary works
  • Train officers identified as a contingency for the Access Supervisor for sickness and holiday
  • Assist administration duties for the team, such as weekly collation of access information for all monthly reports and adhering to a daily handover
  • Deputise for the Site Security manager if the structure requires this
  • Make enquiries and submit reports on incidents as instructed
  • Compile of daily and monthly statistics
  • Carry out inspections of security officers’ general appearance, tasks and procedures

  • Experiences in the demonstration of track record in leading, motivating and developing a security team
  • An ability to deal with complaints and escalate these as necessary
