Manager Costing Analysis FW

  • Key Responsibilities:

     

  • To collect, benchmark and analyse regional costing data for the respective LO in support of costing standards and policy improvement
  • To ensure the reliability and accuracy of costing systems to enable operational efficiency, data reporting and analysis
  • To provide systems training to Liaison Office (LO) and factory Costing staff
  • To support with the distribution and communication of relevant Costing information to the LO Costing team
  • Drives and manages standardization projects within the LO.  Responsibilities include scoping, data collection, process understanding, costing simulation, regional collaboration and alignment with other LO Costing Analysts and roll out to stakeholders
  • Coordinates with other regional costing Analysts to provide consistent and reliable data to support decision-making
  • Seasonally collect and analyse LO costing data to support the Product Costing team with relevant information to help with prioritization, benchmarking, comparison and to provide the team with a big picture view of Costing levers and relevant information (e.g. profit, labour, overhead, tooling & material cost, forecast, order volume, product complexity, etc…)
  • Provide process & technical support for Costing Systems to LO and Factory Costing Teams – Systems Champion / Systems Super User
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy within brand systems
  • Propose/analyse potential and impact of cost saving initiatives
  • Contribute to Costing policy updates and creation for FW Sourcing on behalf of the LO
  • Maintain costing data for business operations and make adjustments/simulations as needed according to fluctuations in cost drivers
  • Create and provide key functional reporting, e.g. Target FOB achievement, productivity achievement, Factory CBD accuracy, etc)
  • Support the Senior Manager Costing FW in Communication such as global standardization, policy updates, project roll out, etc.

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Fluent Spoken and Written English (Required)
  • Strong influencing skills and interpersonal skills to effectively operate in a matrix organisation and drive cross-functional collaboration for Costing initiatives
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present findings, translate big data in to understandable information to drive decision-making and support business operations
  • Analytical mind-set and proven ability to effectively use systems for data analysis and reporting
  • Self-directed, motivated, self-starter with curiosity and willingness to learn with limited supervision
  • Attention to detail but also with the ability to consolidate and extrapolate conclusions from large data sets
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Some technical experience and knowledge of product construction and manufacturing methods preferred (industrial engineering or product development experience).
  • IT-skills (e-mail, MS Office, Excel, Access, PLM a benefit)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global business setting

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management - Minimum
  • Advanced or Graduate degree in Finance or Engineering - Preferred
  • 5 years professional experience in footwear or apparel development or manufacturing  - Preferred
 

Senior Manager, Finance

Primary Accountabilities

  • Perform detailed analysis on the financial performance or operational metrics for the internal and external reporting in accordance to approved Accounting standards and Statutory requirements which are accurate and on-time.  Able to make recommendations and actions to improve company’s financial results
  • Responsible for the preparation and compilation of monthly forecast and track financial KPI.
  • Responsible for the preparation  and compilation of Strategic Business Plan and budget process.
  • Continuously  in  development, implemetation and enforcement the work processes and policies in order to achieve high standards of best practices and effective controls in compliance of GCSA and Group Finance Manual.
  • Coach and develop finance staff to achieve efficiency and higher productivity within F&A department.

 

Secondary Accountatbilities

  • Assist in the production management reports in BI/GRAPE include Quick Report, Royalty Statement, MR tool and quarter reports.
  • Prepare, compile and analyze the financial data onto the reporting package, MR tool and word commentary .(budget/RFC/actual)
  • Responsible to prepare and compile the management/ financial report/ad hoc report onto the power point for presentation to management team/group guest.
  • Continously for the production of  template to serve as planning tool for collecting and analysing data; MWB tool, sourcing , sales & margin template
  • Ensure that Credit Controlling processes are being implemented at high quality, accurately and timely information that meets the needs of internal.
  • Develop, manage and maintain a process that maintain day sales outstanding (DSO) within company target.
  • Appoint as a primary key user for the planning tool (IPS 2) and any new reporting and planning system; be a trainer to provide training to the end user.
  • Ensure a systematic  file  system  for safekeeping; to maintain/keep the management/ financial information/data for at least 5 years.
  • Establish effective communication channel across departments.
  • Develop local policy manual. Compliance with all the processes and procedures laid out in Group Manual Finance and Local Policy Manual.
  • Assist Chief Finance Officer in any other finance & accounting assignments as required.

 

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills / Addendum

  • BA in accounting or finance,  MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years work experience, with 3 or more years in managerial positon.
  • Good business background, possess an open mind, result-oriented, and proactive
  • Ability to multi tasks under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Highest sense of responsibility and personal integrity
  • Good team player and work independently
  • Strong PC background
  • Fluent in English both written and speaking
 

Senior Manager Technology Operations Footwear

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Manage effective upstream relationships with Futures team and Brand Operations to identify new development requirements and define handover timelines and clear roles and responsibilities. 
  2. Manage project plans to outline the required defined technology infrastructure and capabilities to be developed and timelines.  Capabilities may include, but are not limited to: facilities, machinery, software, and human resources.  
  3. Provide project tracking and regular reporting on the status to internal stakeholders. 
  4. Work with Brand Operations to manage development allocation and ensure that workload is aligned with the capabilities of the suppliers for defined technology. 
  5. Provide technical support to Development teams on the defined technology projects related to pattern engineering and yarns applications. 
  6. Identify constraints to raw material supply and production capacity.  Support Material Planning team to align material and component supply with demand.
  7. Where new machinery is required, monitor the machinery suppliers’ capacity and machine lead times to ensure that machinery purchases are aligned to the production requirement.  
  8. Develop communication paths and contacts between T1 and T2 as new factories adopt defined technology.  Ensure alignment of lead times, ordering process and quality requirements between T1 & T2. 
  9. Work with Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Excellence teams to optimize the manufacturing process for the defined technology.
  10. Document best practices for the defined technology and manage the proliferation of the process documentation with all affected locations. 
  11. Work with Costing to develop and/or optimize methods of costing the defined technology.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • University Degree, preferably textile engineering, industrial or chemical engineering.
  • 7 years’ experience in textile industry or footwear. 
  • Additional experience and knowledge working with molding processes for thermoplastics or   

flat knitting, steam molding process is preferred.

  • Good project management and organizational skills. 
  • Lean/6 sigma training and experience. 
 

Technical Field Support, Materials APP (02 positions for Vietnam)

  • Key Responsibilities:

     

  • Participate in product walk-throughs and pre-production meetings to provide direction on any issues that may arise in production and suggest preventive actions.

     

  • Maintain on-going knowledge of information contained in Apparel Materials Test Procedures, SOPs and Requirements Manual.  Responsible for keeping suppliers updated/trained.

     

  • Audit material and trim suppliers in terms of Quality Control to align with adidas Group standards and requirements.

     

  • Supervise the execution of Laboratory Accreditation Programs between official accreditor/3rrd party and suppliers.

 

  • Comment accurately on color fastness for materials and trim lap dips, printing, as well as, bulk production in a timely manner to meet buy ready deadlines.
  • Approve color on site at dye houses and work with dyestuff suppliers to achieve quality improvements when needed.

 

  • Maintain and update A-01 policy including collecting signed documents and testing reports, as well as, train suppliers to ensure compliance.

 

  • Conduct orientation for new material and trim suppliers and train them on quality and color to ensure adidas standards and requirements are met.

 

  • Coordinate Color Standard books orders with LO materials teams and suppliers in the region and follow up with payments.

 

  • Generate and release color download and reports, provide color comments and findings to suppliers and regional material teams.

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree or certificate in Textile and Garment Studies or Textile Engineering, or equivalent related technical experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 year experience in textile or garment manufacturing sector.
 

Temporary Manager Social & Environmental Affairs - Advisory

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Senior Manager in their execution of WORKPLACE STANDARDS policies, projects and work programmes
  • Identify the areas of risk to adidas Group in respect of working conditions and standards. Provide to the Area Manager recommendations in respect of those risks, based on legal obligations and WORKPLACE STANDARDS requirements
  • Engage the adidas Group production staff and factory management in the designated country or countries in order to integrate WORKPLACE STANDARDS requirements into the larger business practices of adidas Group
  • Develop and provide regular WORKPLACE STANDARDS training to adidas Group LO staff and factories within designated country or countries.
  • Support audit (in case of necessary) and develop WORKPLACE STANDARDS action plans for suppliers, to ensure compliance with the WORKPLACE STANDARDS. Similarly, supervise the independent monitoring process in partner factories within designated country.
  • Assist factory remediation by advising on options, negotiating timeframes, sharing experiences and best practices and helping management locate the necessary expertise, materials, etc.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Manager, the relevant Country Manager(s) and LO staff, on the status of partner factories and other suppliers, and WORKPLACE STANDARDS Team activities.
  • Ensure all relevant LO staff and department heads are fully briefed in the WORKPLACE STANDARDS principles and methods of implementation.
  • Regarding communication, convey any problems and issues to all concerned parties immediately. Provide monthly reports to the Senior Manager by the established reporting date.
  • Communicate news, issues and initiatives which originate in the LO to the Senior Manager promptly and clearly.
  • Keep updated on all labour and HSE legislation within the designated country or countries and report any updates to the Senior Manager and Discipline Heads. Review any updates with senior factory management and other WORKPLACE STANDARDS team members.
  • Establish contacts and actively engage in dialogue with local NGOs, Government bodies and professional institutions, to further the goals and transparency of the WORKPLACE STANDARDS programme.
  • Act as a mentor for other Managers and AM grade staff, and assist in their training.

Purchasing Senior Buyer - TaylorMade

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure execution of all Purchasing process and policies in TMaG Purchasing department and lead the responsible suppliers to achieve the KPI target.
  • Coach, train and influence the supplier sales team’s competency level by training, increasing the understanding of TMaG’s purchasing process.
  • Fully engage to and responsible for new project launch ramp plan execution.
  • Responsible in training new buyers or assistant buyers, and monitor they consistently perform at a required level.

 

 

Key Activities

  • Consistently communicate in between global planning, project leader to understand the demand plan and drive a day to day production management of the responsible suppliers to best satisfy customer’s requirement by priority.
  • Collaborate closely with the factory sales team, customer service, engineers to identify bottlenecks and complexities on order schedule maintenance activities. Provide suggestion, corrective actions to reach a goal of problem solving.
  • Monitor the responsible suppliers to achieve the delivery performance at the highest required level, drive improvement action plans with the various stakeholders in the responsible suppliers.
  • Train buyers and assistant buyers to complete the responsible tasks on time.
  • Support Purchasing Manager, Assistant Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Supervisor in implementing purchasing process improvement in the responsible team/area.
  • Proactively accept assigned projects as an extra task, and play as an active role in the project team.

 

 

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 or more years of related Operations/Purchasing experience in supply chain environment.
  • Must have the ability to work across multiple business teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with relational databases (i.e. MS Access, Business Objects, etc.). Demonstrated knowledge of TMaG system (Oracle & CSE)
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
