Nui Tuong Education Project aims to provide educational and vocational training in sustainable agriculture/eco-tourism for young residents of Nui Tuong village. Using our farmland in the village as the main community education center, we established a popular gathering place for young people in the area. This community meeting point combined with our training programs will create a flourishing local economy and increase in quality of life for the village which has been traditionally poor. We emphasize that the young generation uses their newfound skills to develop the local economy, thus prolonging the life of the small village in a world that is rapidly moving towards urbanization.  

1. Mô tả công việc   Working with students:

• Teach English for 30 local children from 6-17 years old
• Teach any skills that you might have : photoshop, photography, singing, drawing, 
• Follow up with children’s progress 
• Care, inspire and motivate students
• Read and/or explain books for children
• Provide suitable English lessons for students
• Select learning sources and design lessons
• Establish relationship with children 
• Build students’ profiles for their mentoring or sponsoring potential 

Working with the Team

• Arrange classes for other volunteers
• Coordinate with other staff in the Team
• Work closely and report to Project Manager 

Working with partners/ organizations outside the Project

• Coordinate with other Organizations to organize classes, workshop, events…
• Find scholarships, training, program for students
• Find donors, sponsors, mentors for students and Project
• Networking, build up relationship with other partners/ supporters 

Others

• Do chore works : clean house, tidy things up, arrange books, library
• And others tasks will be assigned

2. Yêu cầu của công việc   Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in community development, social work, education field, international relations or related field
• Experience and desire to work with NGOs in the sector
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, attention to details, and highlyorganized
• Excellent skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point,)
• Fluency in English (IELTS > band 6 preferred)

• Love children
• Be flexible, sociable, independent, responsible, and proactive 
• Have a learning attitude 
• Love countryside , Can cook 
• Have a laptop
• Can be Vietnamese or foreigner
• Can live in a simple and basic conditions (we are going build other houses, toilet and bathrooms in about 3 months)
