HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supply Chain

  • Lead, direct, and control all supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to maximise the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organisation’s supply chain. Activities may include supply planning and control, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution.
  • Oversee the overall supply and logistics budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources and prioritise spending.
  • Establish targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; warehousing, and storage costs; and service standards and monitor the performance of all supply and logistics activities against these goals.
  • Research, negotiate, maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with external suppliers so that the organisation has a reliable supply of goods and services that meet its standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
  • Liaise with other senior executives across the organisation (particularly in Commercial & Finance) to ensure that supply and logistics strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall corporate objectives.

Geographic Expansion

  • Lead the Geographical expansion project for ANI Vietnam, partnering with external providers and internal cross-functional stakeholders in the affiliate and region to ensure that we manage this project as a separate P&L with clear GTM Strategies and BTL activities to maximize this potential year on year
  • Work closely with Nielsen, the General Manager and the Sales Team to scope out the opportunity for Geographical Expansion on an annualized basis
  • Work closely with the Sales & the Marketing Heads on the GTM Strategy and the Marketing Strategy for the newer Geographies
  • Propose the deployment of resources to maximize opportunities (Trade salesmen & Ethical Sales Team)

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Oversee the EHS function for Vietnam to ensure that it meets the policies, procedures and guidelines as laid out by the Global Commercial EHS group across all divisions.
  • Ensure that the affiliate complies with country requirements.

People Management

  • Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
  • Manage team’s development throughout the path to achieve goals.
  • Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.

ASSOCIATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott’s Established Pharmaceuticals Division is expanding its business development function and is currently looking for an Associate Business Development (BD) Manager. This position will be responsible for identifying, researching, evaluating and purposing business development opportunities to meet the organization’s short and long term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive picture of the market/product opportunity. Develops strategies from market and medical/clinical data (trends, unmet therapy needs) and clinical profile/indications/patents of product, develops a SWOT analysis, forecast long-term market development and product potential
  • Follow up with whole NPI process, from screening stage, assessment, development, readiness to launching stages
  • Create a cross-functional team to develop the brand plan and launch strategy prior to hand off to Product Manager
  • Perform the projects from Area Office

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Medicine is a must
  • Experience in sales & marketing in the pharmaceutical segment with at least 3 years of strong marketing & sales experience at MNC
  • Have good knowledge & experience marker research. Understand IMS research.
  • Strong computer skills –Excel, PowerPoint, internet searches
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data and draw valid conclusions, to do ‘number crunching’, and make recommendations based on quantitative or qualitative data
  • Understand P&L or knowledgeable on Finance
  • Report writing – pull diverse sources of information together into a concise, comprehensive document
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with various people and departments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
