Job Description:

We are looking for a Facilities (Business Support Services) Assistant to provide assistance to the Business Support Services (BSS) department in the scope of facilities and administration management.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Facilities (Business Support Services) Assistant to provide assistance to the Business Support Services (BSS) department in the scope of facilities and administration management. The Assistant will be working closely with the BSS Executive and Branch IT Assistants for the smooth operation of the main office and teaching centres in Ho Chi Minh City. As the Assistant, you will check classroom set-ups daily, keep track of the regular maintenance of equipment and assist with the supervision of outsourcing premises services provided at the main office and the teaching centres’ premises. In addition, you will assist the BSS Executive and BSS Manager in resolving issues relating to security, health and safety such as access control, first-aid, fire drills and training courses conducted for staff. Other responsibilities will include inputting data into the inventory system and carrying out labelling for the new assets in close consultation with IT team and/ or line manager on a monthly basis.

To be considered a successful candidate, you must have one to two years’ experience in administration and/or premises, facilities management fields and have a college diploma in any field. Experience in health and safety will be an advantage and candidates should have knowledge of basic Microsoft Office functions. Excellent Vietnamese skills and basic English skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) are necessary.

The British Council teaching centres operate from Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 21.30 and on Saturday to Sunday from to 21.30. This post may be required to follow working patterns that include unsocial hours with priority to support main office and teaching centres’ daily operation.
