  1. Overview:

The BBGV Business Centre is looking for a dynamic and engaging Vietnamese national to fill in the immediate position as Business Development Manager

The business development manager will be assigned to the BBGV Business Centre team which provide trade services to UK companies including export opportunities, business events, market studies, knowledge exchange (including webinars and sector reports), trade missions and business matching.

Your role will be to:

  • Create sale leads for UK companies by identifying Vietnamese importers who wish to import goods or invest in services and/or form partnerships with UK exporters. 
  • Develop Vietnamese pipeline, build and maintain relationship to create partnership with Vietnamese business community.
  • Conduct market research and provide trade services for UK companies in at least one business sector. Knowledge of the Vietnam Retail sector would be an advantage.
  • Build and maintain marketing channels including but not limited to BBGV TV, E-newsletter.
  • Promote and market the Business Centre facility to potential clients/sponsors.
  • Find additional ways to drive revenue to the business centre.
  • Support development of the new incubator business centre.
  1. Job Requirements
  • Flexibility in working hours, including travel within Vietnam
  • Experience in the private sector and/or international trade 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Adaptability to meet changing situations.
  • Experience of selling services at high level
  • 2-4 years Business development experience in international environment
  • Education: 4-year University degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Communications or other closely related field.
  • Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
