1. Teaching Assistant

Speak UP Vietnam is looking for potential Teaching Assistant in order to take care our students (assign cabin, monitor students’ works...) and support academic task in materials.

Job Description:

• Keep work area clean & tidy;

• Preparing materials for Academic department;

• Assigning cabins for students studying Multimedia;

• Booking/ Cancelling classes as students’ request;

• Assigning cabin for placement test as Sale Department’s request;

• Collecting feedback/ complaints from students and sending to the right department;

• Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of Speak UP Vietnam business;

• Perform other duties as required by the Head of Studies.

Job Requirements:

• Junior/ Senior student, preferred major in English;

• English communication (Pre-Intermediate);

• Customer service skills;

• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,…);

2. Personal Teacher

Speak Up specializes in teaching English to adults using a unique method that combines the most modern multimedia tools with classes conducted by highly qualified instructors. Speak UP Vietnam is looking for potential full-time Vietnamese English teachers for our courses.

Job Description:

• Teaching:

  • Design effective and engaging lessons based on the material provided, following Speak Up Teaching method;

  • Improve students’ communicative ability through on-going reinforcement and assessment;

  • Motivate students using Speak UP’s state-of-the-art learning management system;

  • Take care of individuals by regularly monitoring, reporting and consulting, based on students’ Academic report;

  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum by providing feedback regarding teaching materials, Multimedia lessons, Student Books...;

  • Conduct Progress Follow-up classes based on students’ demand or necessity.

• Services:

  • Conduct Personal Teacher’s tasks as deemed by Speak Up’s learning management system;

  • Organize weekly Club activities;

  • Participate in daily learning activities to support students (Lab, English Zone).

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree level or above;

• Relevant professional qualifications, ESL Teacher Training Certification – TESOL, TEFL, CELTA etc. (prefer CELTA or TESOL – Trinity College);

• Experience in teaching communication courses for adults;

• MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

• Customer-centric attitude;

• Well-developed presentation, instruction and communication skills.

The receptionist position at Speak UP is waiting for you who speaks English well and have a great welcome to the customer when they come to the school.

Job Description:

• Welcome guests and students to the centre;

• Guide and answer questions from customers or students;

• Contact students by phone, remind students about the schedule;

• Support fill documents;

• Check and book class for students;

• Performance and Routine Functions;

• Supporting other departments.

Working Time: Flexible working hours: 44 hours per week

Job Description:

• Consult and persuade customers to come to the school for experiencing the English products of Speak UP;

• Plan and conduct the invitations call to customer;

• Build trust with customers and support current students to increase the number of students through referral and re-enrollment channels;

• Collect product information on the market to create a competitive advantage;

• Make reports on the business situation in the centre.

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in the field of consulting, customer care or telesales;

• Prefer retail, insurance, real estate, banking...;

• High negotiation skills, persuasion skills;

• Strong problem-solving skills;

• Ability to work under high pressure, adapt quickly;

• Discipline and team spirit to achieve sales targets;

• Love the field of Education and foreign languages.

Working Time:

• 7.5 hours per day;

• 5.5 days per week.

5. Education Consultant

We are looking for an Education Consultants whose job purposes are: Achieve sales targets set by the company; Provide advanced English learning channel for customers; Ensure the quality service for students.

Job Description:

• Advise and persuade customer to attend Speak UP's English courses;

• Plan and conduct the search for potential sources of leads;

• Responsible for weekly, monthly sales target of individuals;

• Build trust and support for current students to increase the number of student through referral and re-enrollment channels;

• Ensure to provide the best quality service for students;

• Gathering product information on the market to create a competitive advantage;

• Make reports on the business situation at the centre.

• At least 1-year experience in consulting and sales;
