ROLE OVERVIEW

The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. The British Council in Vietnam is a priority country for the British Council within East Asia. We engage with nearly 15 million people a year through activity across three strategic business units: Education and Society, English and Exams and the Arts. We have two centres in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with two additional branch teaching centres in each.   

Teaching Centre plans are aligned to East Asia Regional objectives:

  • Focus on a culture of teaching, invest in people and quality to maintain and enhance brand and reputation
  • Improve market messaging, content and delivery, and parent/learner understanding 
  • Increase impact from digital promotion and customer engagement 
  • Embed sales and Customer Relationship Management in customer service  

Temporary Marketing Executive, Hanoi Teaching Centre

We are recruiting a temporary Marketing Executive to cover for maternity staff. The post holder will carry out marketing activities (mostly advertising, promotion campaigns and events) and business development projects under the guidance of Marketing Manager (Teaching Centre), with the aim of increasing the numbers of enquiries, placement tests and new registrations for English language courses for the Teaching Centres.

The successful candidate will possess a college or university degree and have a minimum of  two year experience in a marketing support role which include, but not limited to brand/product management, ability to implement marketing campaign independently, proven ability to conduct business analysis or to analyse and communicate market trends, collaborating with partners, planning, monitoring and reviewing marketing plan. He/She will also have excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
