Tasks:

ABB Vietnam currently has an opportunity for a Project Manager for PG division who will be responsible to support the project team for execution of projects as per budget, quality and timeline. Based in Hanoi and reporting to the Project Management Team Leader, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Plan, monitor and control project activities and ensure smooth flow of project activities;

• Ensure customer satisfaction as per ABB’s standards and keep regular communication with customers;

• Manage finance and cost for a project by understanding cost calculations and cost optimization;

• Understand and implement ABB’s legal standards and contract management terms to operate smoothly in terms of project procedure;

• Understand scope and negotiations for change management in terms of additional sales, increasing margin, reducing risks, etc.;

Requirements:

2. Solution & Control Engineer

Tasks:

ABB Vietnam is seeking Solution and Control Engineer who would be responsible for Sale support activities. Based at Ho Chi Minh City and reporting to Proposal team leader, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Propose Robot-based automation solutions in accordance with customers’ inquiry and requirements provided by Sales team;

• Visualize the solution by working out 2D & 3D layout of the complete Robot system and simulation of the system operation;

• Design control system, make detail electrical drawings of Robot systems and supporting modules;

• Conduct site survey and suggest necessary changes or upgrades in the system;

• Support project team on testing, installation and commissioning Robot system at the customer site to ensure the system performance as contract;

• Support service team as troubleshooting, maintenance and repairing of the Robot systems;

• Focus on customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should hold a University Degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical and Control engineering. Strong background and minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical/ Control cabinet Design and Fabrication. Experience in product development and design with industrial manufacturing companies is preferred.

You should also have strong knowledge and background in automation equipment and device such as pneumatics, hydraulics, cylinders, valves, sensors, drives, HMIs, PLCs, etc. The role will suit someone with strong experience in service and troubleshooting, design software and strong command of English communication.
