Job Title Financial Analyst

Report to Investment Manager/ Branch Director
JOB OVERVIEW
Being responsible for Financial Valuation & Feasibility Studies for land development and operating assets as part of property investment brokerage services to property developers, institutional international investors and large domestic property investors.
Apart from that, the role of the Financial Analyst is actively seek out, analyze and progress buy/sell investment opportunities which are typically development land sites, completed or under-construction office buildings, mixed-use developments, resorts and hotels, serviced apartment buildings and retail developments. A typical deal size is in the region of US$40-100m.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and understand the commercial, residential and industrial property markets in Vietnam.
- Identify property divestment opportunities from development sites to operating commercial assets.
- Conduct initial investment, legal and due diligence analysis on opportunities.
- Complete property valuations using financial models to determine potential investment returns for purchasers.
- Complete feasibility studies using financial models to assist purchasers and vendors in the process of issuing Letter of Intent and Termsheet.
- Assist in development of high quality investment teasers and investment memorandums.
- Assist in the marketing and sales process until a successful transaction is completed.
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials
- Close deals by matching requirements of buyers and sellers; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
CANDIDATE PROFILES:
Technical Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in a strong financial course preferred; undergraduate degrees will be considered.
- MRICS/CFA/ACCA qualified or candidates are preferred.
- International education or professional experience in a private equity, investment banking, M&A, or consultancy firm is preferred.
- Will consider very high calibre graduates or interns.
- Excellent financial modelling and investment analysis skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent English and Vietnamese communication skills both verbal and written
