1.       CLUB SERVICE AGENT

MAIN DUTIES

-          To check and prepare all daily Sofitel Rooms and Suites arrivals/departure and assign rooms for incoming guests according to room rates and guests requests

-          To handle all mails, facsimiles, messages, special requests and provide information and assistance to the guests

-          To escort each guest to their rooms after check-in registration, as well as to the lobby after completion of departure processing

-          To attend to guest’ requests promptly, efficiently and to report to the Supervisor or Assistant Manager for service recovery and follow up

-          To provide cheerful, courteous and efficient service each time and to meet with every guest’s request promptly

-          To ensure the set-up at the Lounge is ready for daily breakfast and evening cocktails and the food is sent by F&B on time

-          To perform any other activities or tasks as directed by the Sofitel Club Floor Supervisor or Management.

 

Requirements:

- Good command of English

- Minimum of six months of experience as a Reservations Agent or Guest Service Agent in a 5-star hotel or resort

- Have knowledge of basic food and beverage service and control standards

- Hospitality or Tourism diploma or degree will be an asset

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrated experience as a team player

- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills, be compassionate towards guest issues and concerns and posses a high degree of personal integrity

- Be available to work shifts

 

2.       GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER

Main duties:

The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for Guest Relations daily operation works while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

·         Welcome and check-in all guests according to established procedures.

·         Coordinate with concierge for arrival time to do the pickup VIP guest with Hotel transportation.

·         Review and prepare all daily arrivals, allocating best available rooms according to VIP status, room rate charged, and guests’ requests.

·         Double check the accuracy of all work performed by Guest Relations Officers and Club Service Agents during and at the end of work shifts.

·         Balance all the daily posting transactions and ensure monies collected are banked in to the General Cashier’s safe at the end of each shift.

 

Requirements:

·         Be familiar with all room types, benefits that would be required for the performance of the daily job function.

·         Have a pleasant and smiling personality.

·         Well grooming and good knowledge of local areas/ places of interest, shopping, etc.

·         Be able to work shifts according to the duty roster.

3. SERVICE ONE AGENT

·        Maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel, maintaining a sales attitude at all times

·        Ensure the correct operations of the switchboard to initiate a fast and efficient transferring of internal and external calls

·        Ensure all guest requests (wake-up call, promotions, faxes, housekeeping, laundry, engineering, emergency, in-room dining, room reservation, etc) are action speedily and in accordance with hotel procedures

·        Ensure a high level of products and services knowledge of the hotel and local area

 

Requirements:

- Good command of English

- Minimum of six months of experience as a Reservations Agent or Guest Service Agent or Telephone operator in a 5-star hotel or resort

- Have knowledge of basic food and beverage service and control standards

- Hospitality or Tourism diploma or degree will be an asset

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrated experience as a team player

- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills, be compassionate towards guest issues and concerns and posses a high degree of personal integrity

- Be available to work shifts.
