Social Networking Manager; Program Finance Officer

The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSEE) is a non-profit organization working for human rights, especially the rights of minority groups, with a mission to promote the values of freedom, tolerance and equality in society. iSEE now has a vacancy for a Social Networking Manager, who is qualified and committed to iSEE’s vision and mission. In response to the organization’s development, iSEE is looking for qualified candidates for 02 positions:

• 01 Social Networking Manager
• 01 Program Finance Officer

I. PROGRAM FINANCE OFFICER

Key responsibilities of Program Finance Officer

• Manage project budget and provide regular update for management team and staffs
• Check and ensure compliance of project expenses with iSEE and donors requirements
• Update regularly changes on donors’ financial requirements
• Compose project financial reports
• Be in charge of budgeting for the organization and new projects
• Support program staffs in project financial management
• Provide training and coaching for staff fin in financial system and procedures
• Participate in organizations’ training, meetings and other functions.

Requirements & Expectations

• Have bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in accounting, finance and banking or management
• Have project finance management capacities (budgeting, monitoring and reporting), and partnership management
• Have ability to work independently, responsibly and complete the work within deadline  
• Have good communication and leadership skills
• Pay attention to detail
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese
• Commit to the values, principles and working practices of iSEE, including social equality, rights-based approach and respect diversity.

II. SOCIAL NETWORKING MANAGER

Social networking program is to promote development of civil spaces in which values of equality, justice, and tolerance are encouraged to practise. This objective is achieved through advocacy effort for issues concerning civil society development, promotion of fundamental human rights and networking with various social groups to mitigate discrimination on the basis of diversity respect.

Key responsibilities of Social Networking Manager

• Jointly develop programs based on identified strategies;
• Actively plan, implement, monitor and report for the assigned projects;
• Actively participate in advocacy efforts for enabling environment for civil society in Vietnam;
• Actively mobilize relevant individuals and social groups to run social campaigns when necessary;
• Develop and maintain partnership with relevant partners and social groups;
• Manage documentation and follow team’s plans.

Requirements and expectation:

• Have bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in social science, economics, psychology, public policy, public management, law and human rights. Holding Master degree in one of these fields is an advantage;
• Have experience in civil society, policy advocacy processes in Vietnam;
• Have project finance management capacities and good communication skills.
• Have strong interest in Social Equality and Human Rights;
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese
• Commit to the values, principles and working practices of iSEE, including social equality, rights-based approach and respect diversity.
