1. SALES ADVISOR (Part-time, full-time)

Key Responsibility:
You are responsible for delivering a Great Customer Experience that contributes to the Sales and Profit in your store.
You always put our customers first and offer assistance and share your Product and Fashion knowledge.
You create an environment that is easy for our customers to shop in through Store Operations and Great Garment Care.

Great Customer Experience
You always put our customers first and offer assistance and share your Product and Fashion knowledge.
             Direct customer service
  • Demonstrate the 5 basic demands to engage with and welcome our customers in the service areas and on the sales floor
  • Apply a ‘Heads up’ approach – be aware of customers who require assistance and offer your help
  • Use your product and fashion knowledge to inspire the customer by offering purchasing suggestions, and promoting campaigns, offers and activities
Sales & Profit
You create an environment that is easy to shop in through Store Operations and Great Garment Care.
            Store Operations
  • Keep the fixtures full and tidy regularly throughout the day to maximise sales
  • Ensure great garment care to sell the products in their best condition at the right time
  • Replenish sizes and allocation to the sales floor through efficient delivery and refill routines to avoid missed sales
  • Ensure all areas of the sales floor and back of house are always clean and tidy
  • Ensure all routines are followed at the cash desks and fitting rooms to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
Great Team
  • Share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues, offering help where needed to build a positive working atmosphere
  • Give honest and constructive feedback to your colleagues to develop their skills
  • Work in accordance with H&M standards and local legislation with Health & Safety and security routines, to guarantee your own personal safety as well as the safety of your colleagues and our customers at all times

2. Cash office Responsible

Key Responsibility:
Working at the heart of a fast-paced fashion business, you are responsible for the cash office and shop floor administration.
You train, inform and support the store team to ensure they are knowledgeable and competent in store stock, cash, banking and administration procedures.
Meeting the expectations of customers and colleagues at all times, as well as following H&M procedures and standards, are a given for you.
 
Administration:
  • Complete all cash handling, accounting and personnel requirements in a secure, accurate and timely manner
  • Pro-actively prevent administration mistakes and cash losses and follow up daily on the status
  • Complete the required reports and data entry
  • Communicate with the relevant people in the business (e.g. Accounting, Payroll department, IT, Controlling, Security)
  • Report any mistakes, losses or improper practices and follow up in the correct manner
Selling:
  • Ensure that all technical equipment (tills, scanners, back office equipment) are in working order and any faults are reported and followed up
  • Prepare the cash points daily with correct floats, stationary and perform required cash lifts. Ensuring the end of day routines are supported
  • Help all staff to be knowledgeable in the cash point procedures and best practices to provide the best customer service and prevent administration or cash losses
  • Prevent stock loss by verifying reduction and garment transfer routines to ensure correct bookings
  • Along with the management team keep a tidy and organised back of house, following safety and security requirements
  • Ensure the correct key handling procedures are adhered to by all staff and management
Training & Information:
  • Train and educate the staff and management teams on administration procedures
  • Communicate all accounting and cash handling routines and policies within the store.
  • Keep the team up to date with relevant news and changes

3. Store Manager

Key Responsibility:

You are responsible for achieving the Sales and Profit goals in your Store by creating a plan to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with the Area.

You ensure you have a Great Team and support its development. You work with succession planning, talent and leadership development and structured performance management, based on results, values and leadership.

You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

 

Sales & Profit:

  • You regularly analyse and follow up your Store’s Sales & Profit KPIs and take actions accordingly to maximise results Together with your Area Team, you set the hours plan in line with the sales budget
  • Together with your Store Management Team, you ensure scheduling maximises conversion within the frame of the hours plan
  • You prioritise and take actions in your store that have a clear impact on sales in line with your Area Team
  • You give input to the Area on your Store’s allocation to secure a good garment level according to sales
  • You ensure your Store’s execution continuously meets H&M standards and follow up using the Customer Experience Tool
  • You ensure Store Operations Best Practices are followed in your store, according to the Area plan
  • You ensure H&M customer service standards are delivered in your store
  • You ensure that the maintenance in your store is managed in a cost-efficient way and meets H&M standards and initiate actions accordingly
  • You actively prevent loss and ensure your Store Team follows appropriate guidelines and takes any appropriate action
  • You inform your Area Team of any potential risks, threats and opportunities related to the competitor landscape

People & Team:

  • You manage the recruitment, training, development and succession planning for your Store

  • You evaluate and manage the performance of your Store Team, including having dialogues, putting development plans in place, giving feedback and following up and taking actions to improve performance and develop your team

  • You actively work with talent and leadership development in your Store in order to support business needs

  • You ensure regular and clear communication with your Store Team on business performance, H&M’s Company Culture & Values and Country, Area and Store goals

  • You ensure health & safety, legal and security issues are being handled in accordance with H&M standards and local legislation, ensuring employee and customer safety at all times

  • You strengthen our Company Culture by promoting feedback in our daily work and coach your Store Team to do the same

4. Visual Merchandiser

Key Responsibility:

  • Ensure you are up-to-date with current fashion trends and styling techniques so you can anticipate your customers’ needs.

  • Support the store to achieve excellent customer service.
             Indirect customer service
  • Follow up the H&M Visual Identity through implementation of the Commercial Handbook and secure well-styled GTL mannequins in windows and in store and make sure garment presentation is in line with the concept ID
  • Create a clear red thread from windows to A-area with wearable buying suggestions.
  • Ensure high quality, commercial garment presentation with good garment care every day together with store team
  • Provide good concept flow by maintaining the concept layout, fixtures and navigation.
  • Launch and maintain all sales campaigns and activities on time and according to H&M standards.
             Drive sales targets
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Perform sales follow-up and initiate actions to reach sales targets.
Team:
            Training & Development:
  • Evaluate & develop the visual and commercial skills of the store team.
  • Organise, provide and carry out visual training for all colleagues to support garment presentation in line with the Commercial Handbook.

  • Ensure that all communication in the windows and on the sales floor complies with local legislation.

  • Maintain and care for all display and interior material with sustainability in mind.

  • Share information with the team on Commercial handbook seasonal changes and continue to evaluate throughout the season.
  • Provide updates of all VM information material in the store.
  • Ensure that store always has enough Sale and Activity material.
