The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, pro-active, collaborative have a lot of experience writing English content in the travel space. We are after someone who can own and edit all content, knows how to think about messaging hierarchy, how to make people open emails, click buttons and help customers without overwhelming them. We want engaging and informative content for email, website, social media or a press briefing.

Key Responsibilities:

• All marketing materials must be written in English
• Conceptualize and present creative directions, scripts, copy, and headlines for on-site (e.g. tour itinerary) and off-site content.
• Write scripts and copy for advertising, short form and informational videos, as well print (direct mail), social media and digital advertising (display ads, email).
• Have a high degree of attention to detail when managing multiple creative campaigns, variations, and be open to feedback from others.
• Understand and portray the voice of the brand

Essential Skills / Experience:

• Extensive experience as a copywriter for well-known and/or innovative travel-focused brands
• Familiarity with SEO, email, web copy. Ability to produce both long-form and short-form writing
• Understanding of direct marketing principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Share an online portfolio demonstrating experience in the successful communication of messages across multiple platforms
• Passion for activity/adventure sports
• Understands the startup world and the ups and downs new ventures goes through

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or related field
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in copy writing and proof reading
• IELTS 6.5 or above, or TOEFL ibt 80 or above
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from others
• Experience in technology industries preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects independently
