We're currently a small Product Studio with 10 people that build digital products to grow client's businesses. Our clients are from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Europe and we work with them as a dedicated Technical partner to grow the business together.

We want to be a global quality product development agency in the next 3 years. It means a leading team of software engineers, designers, and product manager with proven process combined with rigorous design and engineering standards allow us to turn complex software problems into elegant, scalable solutions.

We are hiring People Development!

People is the most important resource to become a great company. If we make great products, but people don’t enjoy working with us, we can’t grow as we want to be. In versa, we can’t make great products and deliver more values to our clients without talented people. Therefore, the mission of People Development is

to “find them, grow them and keep them”.

We’re looking for someone that has strong interest in startup culture to build a company we can all be proud of for a long time to come together. Then if you're a People person and captivated in being part of a constantly evolving team, with the freedom to travel and work remotely, keep reading.

Responsibilities

  • Take care of YOMI recruitment.
    • Plan, find and work with recruitment platforms to increase YOMI members.
    • Improve our recruitment procedures.
    • Coordinator between candidates and internal team in recruiting process.
  • Follow and improve our People Dev activities
    • OKRs management. We are using OKRs as the framework of defining and tracking objectives and their outcomes. Your jobs are to follow and make sure everyone implements it in the right way.
    • Monthly sharing. Instead of performance review each 6 months, we conduct monthly sharing 1-1 to easily check in with our members.
    • Recognition program. We love to appreciate other people supports as well as their best work. you could read about it here (https://goo.gl/U4hyUp)
    • Sharing and Training sessions. One of our core values is learning—we seek to constantly be moving forward and naturally want to learn how to do things better.
  • Follow and improve People Dev policy.
    • Keep track and implement all People Dev policies such as time-off request, compensation, working remotely.
    • Plan and implement our WorkRetreat. It's one of the great things of being our members. We go oversea one month a year, together. last time it was in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

We're looking for these traits in a People Dev person.

You must have a friendly, personable and outgoing manner, with a willingness to take on responsibilities with a hands-on attitude. Be hard working, well presented, and have excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail. There are also:

  • Understand startup-minded as well as the ability to adapt to various processes. We're a small company currently and always open to change, so you have to be too.
  • Experienced in building relationship and make genuine connections with people by always providing value instead of hard-selling.
  • No ego and a team player.
  • Constantly learning and sharing knowledge + seeks out & appreciates feedback.
  • Good listening, writing, reading skill in English

It's great if you could have:

  • A strong background of at least 2 years in HR field in tech industry, as well as a solid network in the tech space in various markets.
