YOUNG HOTELIER AWARDS ASEAN 2019 HAS OFFICIALLY OPENED FOR APPLICATION

Young Hotelier Awards ASEAN 2019, a talent-seeking contest in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, has officially opened for applications. 

With the theme “Ring Your Idea”, this year contest will bring opportunities and challenges for the young human resource in the Tourism and Hospitality industry to accelerate management skills, leadership qualities, and innovation. In 2019, the contest will be organized throughout the entire Southeast Asian region for the very first time.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Be a citizen from any countries in the ASEAN community;
- Be a student or fresh graduate, from 16 – 25 at the time of enrolment, at any high school, vocational training, colleges, or universities;
- Enroll as a group of three;
- Any major is welcomed.

TOPICS
The subject of the contest is the ideas and innovations for the Tourism and Hospitality industry belonging to the following topics:
- Ideas about Tourism;
- Ideas about Food and Beverage, Restaurant & Hospitality;
- Ideas about Technological Application in the field of Tourism and Hospitality.

TIMELINE
The contest will have 03 rounds, which last from April 12th to August 8th.
- Qualifying Round (April 12th - 31st May): Submit an online application together with a brief idea description
- Semi-final Round (June 19th - July 19th): Submit a presentation and video demonstrating the idea from the Qualifying Round.
- Final Round (July 19th - August 08th): Idea pitching and debate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. All expenses (transportation, accommodation, etc.) for the finalists to come and stay in Ho Chi Minh City during the final round would be covered by the organizers.

LANGUAGE
English will be the language used throughout the 03 rounds of the competition.

PRIZES
Total prizes are up to $30,000 – including cash, presents, training courses in Vietnam, and a short-term training course to SWITZERLAND for the three members of the First prize-winning team.

- For the Qualifying Round, please register online and submit a concise idea description (max. 200 words, size 13, Times New Roman, PDF format) through the website https://yha.hospitality.edu.vn/

- 30 best groups will be selected for the next round, and applications are chosen according to the criteria, namely creativity, possibility, value of ideas, and presentation method.

Young Hotelier Awards ASEAN 2019, hội thi tìm kiếm tài năng lãnh đạo trẻ trong lĩnh vực Du lịch, Nhà hàng & Khách sạn, đã chính thức mở đơn đăng kí! 

Với chủ đề “Ring Your Idea – Đưa ý tưởng vang xa”, hội thi năm nay sẽ mang đến nhiều cơ hội và thử thách cho nguồn nhân lực trẻ trong lĩnh vực Du lịch, Nhà hàng & Khách sạn giúp xây dưng kĩ năng quản lý, tố chất lãnh đạo và thúc đẩy cải tiến. Cũng trong năm 2019, hội thi sẽ được tổ chức lần đầu tiên trên quy mô Đông Nam Á.

ĐIỀU KIỆN
- Là công dân của các nước Đông Nam Á;
- Là học sinh, sinh viên, người mới tốt nghiêp, độ tuổi từ 16 – 25 tại thời điểm đăng kí, từ bất cứ trường trung học, đào tạo nghề, cao đẳng hoặc đại học;
- Đăng kí theo nhóm 03 người;
- Tất cả chuyên ngành nào đều được tham gia.

CHỦ ĐỀ:
Đề tài của cuộc thi là những ý tưởng và cải tiến về ngành Du lịch, Nhà hàng & Khách sạn với những chủ đề như sau:
- Ý tưởng về Du lịch;
- Ý tưởng về Ẩm thực, Nhà hàng & Khách sạn;
- Ý tưởng về Ứng dụng công nghệ trong lĩnh vực Nhà hang & Khách sạn.

NGÔN NGỮ
Tiếng Anh sẽ là ngôn ngữ được dùng xuyên suốt cả 03 vòng thi.

GIẢI THƯỞNG
Tổng giải thưởng lên đến 700 TRIỆU – bao gồm tiền mặt, kỉ niệm chương, các khoá đào tạo tại Việt Nam, một khoá đào tạo ngắn hạn tại Thuỵ Sĩ cho cả 3 thành viên của nhóm đạt giải Nhất.

- Cho Vòng Sơ loại, vui lòng đăng ký trực tuyến và gửi bản mô tả ý tưởng ngắn gọn (max. 200 words, size 13, Times New Roman, PDF format) qua trang web chính thức của YHA ASEAN 2019: https://yha.hospitality.edu.vn/

- 30 đội sẽ được chọn vào Vòng Bán kết dựa trên: Tính sáng tạo của ý tượng, tính khả thi, giá trị và hình thức trình bày.
