Description
The competition is organised by Garden World Images Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales.

International Garden Photographer of the Year is the world's premier competition and exhibition specialising in garden, plant, flower and botanical photography.

There are eleven main categories: The Beauty of Plants / Beautiful Gardens / Wildlife in the Garden / Breathing Spaces / The Bountiful Earth / Trees, Woods & Forests / Wildflower Landscapes / Greening the City / Abstract Views / Outdoor Living / My Garden Stories.

There are also special awards including Young Garden Photographer of the Year and a mobile only category, Gardens on the Go.

All entries must be uploaded via www.igpoty.com.

Entry fees 
£12 for 4 single images.
£25 for a portfolio.

Prizes 
Best Single Image: £7,500
Best Portfolio: The Royal Photographic Society gold medal, plus £2,000
