What is Xposure? Sharjah Government Media Bureau launched the concept of Xposure in 2016 as an International Photography Festival that would become an annual feature in the calendar of professional photographers, photography enthusiasts, filmmakers, students and educators from around the world. Xposure is the official educational & imagery photography platform that combines a broad range of photography events including Exhibitions, Workshops, Seminars, Presentations, Competitions, Photo Walks, a photographic product Trade Show.

Who may enter 
The competition is open to everyone aged 18 and over.

Description
The contest is organized by Sharjah Government Media Bureau.

The competition has 9 categories:

• Nature & Landscape
• Portrait & People
• Architectural photography 
• Photojournalism 
• Mobile Photography
• Night photography
• Best of the Emirates
• Junior Category (entrants must be resident in the United Arab Emirates)
• Short Film & Moving Image

Prizes
• Overall winner: 3,000 USD and digital imaging equipment 
• Category winners: 1,500 USD and digital imaging equipment 
• Category runner-up: 750 USD
