Organised by Taiwan Ministry of Education, the Taiwan International Student Design Competitionaims to encourage international creative design exchange, to develop creative design talents and to express the international image of Taiwan attaching great importance to creative design.

This year's theme is: Breakthrough and Innovation.

There are four categories:

• Product Design
• Visual Design
• Digital Animation
• Service Design

Entrants can participate in the competition as individuals or in teams. The submissions must be original and created by the participants themselves.

The evaluation will be based on the digital files provided by the participants. The evaluation committee will select finalists for the final selection. Finalists will be asked to submit printouts and upload works for the Final Selection. Related information and the deadline will be noticed in the finalist announcement.

There is no entry fee.

Eligibility

Students who currently enrolled at senior high schools or above. Participant must be born after May 12, 1988, and be younger than 30 years of age (for females who have given birth before year of 30 may have 2 years extension per birth).

Fresh graduates (graduate in June 2018) and new students (enroll school in September, 2018) are also eligible.

Prize

The total prize fund for 2018 is up to 180,000 USD in prize money, approximately 13,000 USD of which are reserved for the winner of the Grand Prix. Trophies and certificates will also be awarded.

The Award Ceremony and Exhibition will be held on late-November, 2018.
