Girl Rising invites applications for its Girl Rising Creative Challenge. They’re calling on individuals and organizations from across the world to share how they are helping create a gender equal world.

Is someone you admire doing right by girls? Or maybe YOU are the one making the world a better place! So write your story, submit a video, or share your artwork. Perhaps you voice a podcast about an after-school program to empower girls. Or maybe you saw a friend’s video about a social worker in your neighborhood. It could simply be a powerful poem about your grandmother’s journey to become educated. They welcome your creativity!

Prizes

12 Winners will be selected.

Four (4) Winners will receive:

• publication of their Submission on girlrising.com and
• an HP Sprocket Photo Printer.

Four (4) winners will receive:

• publication of their Submission on girlrising.com,
• an HP Sprocket Photo Printer and
• a $1,000 micro-grant.

Four (4) winners will receive:

• publication of their Submission on girlrising.com,
• an HP Sprocket Photo Printer and
• a $2,000 micro-grant.

Eligibility

• Open to individuals and organizations from across the world
• This Challenge is only open to persons who, as of the last day of the month prior to the date of entry, are at the legal age of majority. For those who are not at the legal age of majority as of the date of entry, a parent or legal guardian must provide an electronic signature and electronic contact information on the submission form.
• Entrants who are under the age of eighteen (18) must comply with the PARENTAL RELEASE requirements set forth below.
• This Challenge is not open to residents and/or citizens of Canada.
• Trustees, directors, officers, and employees of Sponsor and HP, Inc. (“HP”), or their respective affiliates, or any other party associated with the development or administration of this Challenge, including the immediate family and persons residing in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible to participate in the Challenge.
