The University of Sussex is offering 4 Geoffrey Oldham Memorial Scholarships to all students who wish to undertake eligible postgraduate taught Masters degree courses at the University’s Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) commencing AY 2019/2020.

SPRU Masters degree courses eligible for this scholarship are:

• Energy Policy MSc
• Project Management MSc
• Science and Technology Policy MSc
• Strategic Innovation Management MSc
• Sustainable Development MSc

Benefits

Each scholarship award is £10,000 tuition fee reduction.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must first have received and accepted an offer of a full-time place on 1 of the aforesaid Masters courses in SPRU. Applicants must have excellent academic scores to date.

They also need to provide a statement of academic interests, which demonstrate: 1) clear and specific goals of what they aim to accomplish after they finish their Masters; 2) significant work experience or extra-curricular activities related to their chosen Masters; and 3) how their research interests would contribute to furthering Geoffrey Oldham’s work on Science and Technology and Gender.

Those who already have another Sussex scholarship are not eligible.
