    VUS has a large number of experienced and dedicated teachers, including more than 1.000 Vietnamese and Expat teachers, together with over 1.000 excellent Teaching Assistants. VUS always applies a professional recruitment process. 100% of Expat teachers obtain an International Teaching English Certificate: TESOL, CELTA or equivalent to TEFL. Candidates have to prove that they are qualified by undergoing interview rounds and demo rounds… so that they can officially become VUS teachers.

    With this rapid development, we are looking for candidates for below positions at 40 VUS campuses:

    -       Teaching Assistant for Smartkids (kids from 4 - 6 years old)

    -       Teaching Assistant for Superkids (kids from 6 - 11 years old)

     

    1. What are the duties of TAs?

    ●     Actively assist teachers in classroom management and class activities

    ●     Ensure student's safety during class time and break time

    ●     Be a companion to students & help them with studying (i.e.: review lessons, tutor…)

    ●     Be a connection between VUS and parents (write reports, give feedback…)

    ●     Take part in other school activities when assigned

    ●     Provide tutoring sessions for students when required

    1. What are our requirements?

    ●     Be a university/college student (above 18)

    ●     Be able to work on weekends and two weekday evenings (5pm - 9pm)

    ●     Excellent command of English, especially clear pronunciation and accurate grammar (equivalent to IELTS 6.0 and above)

    ●     Be responsible and enthusiastic about the job

    ●     Willing to work with children and young teenagers

    ●     Experience in teaching/tutoring young learners is an advantage (for tutor positions)
