About the Role
We’re an Australian-led startup in
the cosmetic tourism industry, currently establishing operations in Vietnam.
We're looking for a reliable, resourceful Operations Support Assistant
based in Ho Chi Minh City to help support the setup and coordination of our
local activities.
You’ll be working closely with the
founder (in-person while she’s in HCMC, and remotely when she’s in Australia),
helping with vendor research, shortlisting, coordination, and general business
support. This is a hands-on role with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research and shortlist local service
providers and suppliers (e.g. accommodation, transport, recovery-related
services)
- Support with product and material sourcing for
projects related to client experience and branding
- Coordinate visits and meetings with potential
partners and vendors
- Accompany the founder to site visits or handle
appointments independently when required
- Support with general admin, local errands, and
business set-up tasks
- Provide regular updates, recommendations, and
on-the-ground feedback
- Represent the business professionally when dealing
with external contacts

Who We’re Looking For
- Based in Ho Chi Minh City and available for
in-person work
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and
written)
- Organised, proactive, and self-sufficient — can
follow direction but also work independently
- Comfortable visiting vendors, venues, or service
providers on your own
- Professional, friendly, and great with people
- Flexible and open to varied tasks as the business
evolves
- Prior experience in hospitality, sourcing, events,
or admin support is a bonus

Position: Operations Support Assistant
Company: COSMEDCONNECT
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Employment Type: Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week)
The successful candidate will receive a fixed monthly salary of VND 5,000,000, paid on the last working day of each month.
This rate is based on an average of up to 20 hours of work per week (approx. 80 hours per month).
The role offers flexible working hours, with a mix of in-person and remote work depending on the founder’s location.
Hours and schedule may be adjusted week to week depending on business needs and mutual availability.
Payments will be made via bank transfer to a Vietnamese bank account in the assistant’s name.
If other arrangements are required, these can be discussed.
As the business grows, the role may expand to include increased hours, additional responsibilities, or transition to a permanent position with adjusted pay and benefits.
Performance reviews will be conducted every 3 months to evaluate potential increases in scope and compensation.
Any pre-approved out-of-pocket business expenses (e.g. local travel to meetings, minor purchases) will be reimbursed on presentation of a valid receipt.
