SEA LOGISTICS INTERN - 1 YEAR

Work hour: 8:00 – 17:00, from Monday to Friday, one Saturday morning per month

Job description: 

• Update cargo description and correct sailing schedule in sub files.
• Based on Container Loading Plan (CLP) master file and/or Container Loading Result (CLR), link sub files to master files.
• Create draft Forwarder's Certificate of Receipts (FCRs) and release to vendors within agreed timeline for
  checking.
  
• Follow up payment from COD vendors and issue final FCRs after payment is done.
  
• Release hard copy FCRs to vendors if required.
  
• Submit Shipping Instructions (SI)/ Verified Gross Mass (VGM) to carriers via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or
  manually before deadline.
  
• Update all required information in CLP master file.
  
• Send draft Sea Way Bills (SWBs) to Documentation team for checking within timeline.
  
• Follow up delay notice from carriers and update correct sailing schedule in system for both master files and sub
  files.
  
• Update Shipping Plan (SP) if any changes and copy to Shipping Orders (SOs).
  
• Do LA Advanced shipping notice (ASN) pre-check: enter all mandatory fields in SP, validate all required
  checkpoints in due time
  
• Follow up Origin Receipt report & LA ASN report from Regional team and fix all pending issues.
  
• Update status (Loading Confirmation) in system within timeline.
  
• Finalize manifest.
  
• Trigger milestones: Vessel departed, ASN.
  
• Confirm status (Loading Confirmation for Tran-shipment) in system within timeline.
  
• Record non-compliance cases in vendor compliant report.
  
• Record non-compliance cases in carrier issue log.
  
• Follow up carriers’ charges in terms of SWB revision, late SI submission, etc
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Your skills and experience

• Last year university student Of Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Economics who can take the internship full time for 12 months.
  
• Basic knowledge in International Freight Forwarding and import-export process.
  
• Hardworking, willing to learn, honest, detail-oriented & careful.
• Good at communication, problem solving and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel,…).
