ROLE PURPOSE:

The copywriter is responsible for overseeing verbal aspects of creative works until end products; developing copy for assigned creative tasks under supervision of HoC/ CD; working closely with relevant colleagues from CR/AS to produce the most effective strategic and tactical advertising for clients.


Key Accountabilities:

Creative planning & Execution management:

  • Develop integrated creative concept and content based on creative brief.
  • Developing creative strategy with Account Service and the Art Directors to communicate the sales message in a clear, dramatic manner
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and clients in a clear and timely manner.
  • Regularly work with the Art Directors to toss ideas – contribute visual ideas, check how copy ideas can be dramatized visually, write copy from visual ideas.
  • Produce end product based on the client-approved plan.

Quality assurance and operations:

  • Review / check verbal aspects and all creative works to make sure they meet cost / schedule / quality requirement from client (specifically, they can answer brief, meet strategy) and give appropriate feedback to team members when necessary.
  • Check copy and layout to ensure they support each other and are on agreed strategy.


Person Specification:

  • Creative, innovative, flexible, able to quickly come up with concepts/ ideas
  • Great sense of humor
  • Hardworking, can work under high pressure to meet deadlines
  • Good teamwork player while can work independently and responsibly
  • Possesses high level of reliability, integrity and personal ethics
  • Minimum of 1 years working experience at a similar position in an advertising agency
  • Understanding of Vietnamese literature from Classic to Modern time, Vietnamese folklore, myth and mythology
  • Good at using common computer softwares of Word, Excel, Power Point.
