    ABOUT JOB

    We are looking for a professional with at least 2 years experience working in logistics, shipping lines, freight forwarders or import/ export to join our team as a Customer Service Executive.

    The candidate for this role will be expected to excel at the following key responsibilities:
    • Position Summary
      • Control outbound shipments and the booking process of the assigned trade lanes.
      • Perform MSC’s Business Plan and promote MSC’s services by delivery high-quality customer care to ensure customer’s requirements are met.
    • Key Responsibilities
      • Create/ modify bookings for all customers’ request via email/Intra/Mymsc.com/Cross booking.
      • Provide information of vessel details, shipping schedule and handle other enquires to shippers
      • Support customer during the entire the shipping process
      • Handle SOB / EDI / TLA / VGM
      • Inform Customers and Agents for all trade lines of the rollover advice
      • Keep VIP clients informed of the loading confirmation
      • Coordinate with relevant Teams (Sales, Freight, Docs team) to handle COD/Hold/return/Re-export request
      • Handle UAC as required. Liaise with Shippers and Consignees to clear cargo to avoid DEM/STORAGE charge.
      • Handle SANCTION Booking - be up to date with the latest sanction policies and follow closely with GVA guidelines and local sanction procedures.

    REQUIREMENT

    You will be a good match with both our position of Export Sales Executive and MSC culture if you possess the following set of quality:
    • You are strongly customer oriented with the ability to work with customers in a positive manner and efficiently follow through queries / transactions and revert to customers without delay; sensitive to customers' needs.
    • You have strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
    • You have knowledge of handle booking / Change of destination / return shipment.
    • You have strong command of English in both speaking and writing.
    • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
    • You are positive and enthusiastic to provide a good customer service experience;
    • You are a team player with the ability to work cohesively with colleagues across various functions / departments;
    • You can work independently and under pressure;
    • You are a believer of continuous evolution and desire to excel professionally.
