1. The Canadian International School (CIS) serving Kindergarten – Grade 12 students where the Ontario curriculum is taught. The IB Diploma Program is also offered to students in Grades 11 & 12.
2. The Canadian International School - Bilingual Program (BCIS) delivers the Vietnamese National Curriculum, from kindergarten to Grade 12 and the ESL program which is tailored to meet the needs for English language fluency. BCIS also offers students with 2 pathways in secondary (from Grade 9 to Grade 12): MOET high school diploma or IGCSE for A Levels.
3. The Albert Einstein School (AES) now offers education from Early Years (3 years) to Grade 12 (18 years). The program will be the Vietnamese curriculum from Early Years to the National Diploma and provide an international pathway from Grade 11 studying the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE Australia).
4. Canada-Vietnam Kindergarten (CVK): CVK’s philosophy encourage young students to be curious, capable and active citizens on a journey where the seeds are planted for a lifetime love of learning

JOB DESCRIPTION- Support the homeroom teacher to manage the class and supervise students to ensure safety and well-being.
- Support teachers in preparing resources, equipment, classroom activities and displays.
- Provide individual and small group support to children when required.
- Give extra help to students who need support, encouragement and motivation to complete tasks to their potential.
- Support English teachers to enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behaviour.
- Provide Class coverage when the main teacher is not available (10 sick days, Fall break and Winter break).
- Prepare materials, assist in keeping classroom tidy and organized for teacher during non-instructional time.
- Be a translator in parent-teacher conference, Open House and other scenarios as needed.
- Translate all documents sent to Vietnamese parents.
- Liaise with parents professionally, ensuring the classroom teacher is included in communication and that the information is clearly translated.
- Bridge communication among students, Vietnamese teachers & English teachers in the classroom.
- Help with school events, trips and activities in and beyond the classroom.
- Carry out supervision duties for classroom and school.
- Perform other administrative works and jobs as assigned by the teacher and principal.
- Support other teachers as required when another Teaching Assistant is absent.
- Support tasks in a quality and timely manner and use time responsibly.
- Help students get ready for Swimming, PE, specialist classes and assist them to line up, go to and from class in an orderly manner.
- Observe students and inform the teacher of any academic and social concerns.
- Become familiarized with the Child Protection Policy and Procedure and Code of Conduct for staff and follow the information therein.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field; intensive knowledge of Elementary education would be an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in teaching; teaching experience in a Elementary international school would be an advantage
- Demonstrates sensitivity in cross-cultural relationships.
- Works independently as well as collaboratively as a team player.
- Manages conflict effectively and works to achieve students-based solutions.
- Is a team player, flexible, creative and innovative.
- Has initiative, foresight and is a problem solver.
- Has good work ethics and is punctual.
- Is an excellent communicator to teacher, students, parents and administration.
