The QLM Label Makers Group is a leading label manufacturer in Asia Pacific, trading as Hoang Ha Label Co., Ltd in HCMC and operating in Australia, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Cambodia.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Executive to work in our global Marketing Department (based in HCMC). They will assist in the production and development of marketing initiatives as set out in our Marketing Strategy or as required for new projects. Our marketing activities are a combination of activities including electronic, web, direct mail and lead generation activities. This role requires skills in writing and reviewing copy and creative content, while event co-ordination is only a small part of this role. The Marketing Executive will work with the Marketing Manager based in Australia, and Group Director based in HCMC. They are an integral part of ensuring that entities in the QLM Group are represented as per the guidelines set out in our Mission Statement and Marketing Strategies.

DUTIES:

1. To undertake a range of activities that promotes business development through our Lead Generation Strategy. This includes researching and qualifying new leads, generating contact communication and following up with sales teams to determine the effectiveness of this strategy.

2.   To participate in a range of activities related to the preparation of materials, attendance at, or representation of the QLM Group at trade shows or events.

3. To undertake a range of activities as part of the Customer Care Program that aim to ensure we are following up with existing customers.

4.  To undertake activities for corporate sales and marketing communication including letters, emails and telephone calls. This includes regularly scheduled email blasts, periodic letters for promotional purposes or information updates and corporate gifts. This also includes administering and reporting on the annual Customer Focus Survey.

5.  To enter and update company and contact information in our computerized Management Information System as per information provided by clients or sales teams. This includes an understanding of the processes of Sales Supports/Executives.

6. To undertake a range of activities relating to the web presence of the QLM Group including updating information, news, events and images. 

7.  Abiding by the company’s policies and procedures on Quality Management, Lean manufacturing and Work Health and Safety.

8.  Attend and actively participate in training and information sessions including (but not limited to) regular scheduled meetings, conferences, trade events and Lean meetings.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

To fulfil the requirements of the position the person appointed will need to meet the following criteria:-

1. Good phone manner and presentation skills - pleasant, polite and professional, including the ability to speak and write in English to a high standard.

2. Knowledge (or ability to gain) of the printing industry (pertaining to QLM Group core business).

3. Literacy and numeracy skills in English including the ability to write copy in English for corporate communication.

4. Operating competency (or ability to learn) in Excel, Word, Survey Monkey, Typo3, Mail List King and Prism (MIS).

5. Ability to plan day and monitor output.

6.  Provide reports to management on Marketing initiatives and results.
