ABOUT LEGO MANUFACTURING VIETNAM
The LEGO Group will invest more than US $1 billion in the 44-hectare site in the Binh Duong Province (around 50km from Ho Chi Minh City). This is the sixth LEGO® factory and this will expand the Group’s global manufacturing footprint and support long-term growth in Asia-Pacific region. The facility is planned to be the company’s first carbon neutral factory and will include investments in solar energy generation.

Job DescriptionAre you an advocate of learning through play and believe that all children should have equal access to such opportunities? Leverage your unique blend of skills and knowledge to support the LEGO® Group’s efforts to be a global force for learning through play.
Core Responsibilities
- Execution of various planning, administrative and logistical tasks, including the coordination with charity partners, in support of the implementation of the LEGO Group’s local community engagement, volunteering and product donation activities.
- Assist to manage preparatory and management tasks related to the organisation of Employee Play Engagement activities to mobilise staff of the LEGO Group to be advocates of learning through play.
- Research and distil relevant insights on social impact initiatives and policies to inform the LEGO Group’s social impact strategy in Vietnam.
The role will support the Social Impact & Partnerships Senior Manager in driving local community engagement activities in Binh Duong Province and across Vietnam to enable greater access to learning through play to underserved children. In line with this, the role will also make a significant contribution in mobilizing resources from the Vietnam office as part of our global effort to be advocates for learning through play.
Do you have what it takes?
- Prefer candidates who are final-year students majoring in Social Work/ Social Science/ International Relations/ Cultural Studies/ Linguistics or equivalent
- Ability to participate as a full-time intern in 6 months
- Candidates with a strong background of involving in social community work/ previous experiences with non-governmental organisations/ non-profit organisations or related experience will be preferred
- Confident and comfortable with facilitating workshops for children/ students; and delivering presentations to external partners.
- Strong communication skills and proficient in verbal and written English and Vietnamese.
- Resourceful with great project and event management experience and skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and great team player.
- Passionate about engaging with children and believe in the importance of learning through play.
- Able to manage multiple work streams and timelines independently.
- Meticulous with a great eye for details
