Trusting Social is a Fintech and AI company that pioneers alternative credit scoring for emerging markets using telecom data and other new data sources.

We aim to provide 1 billion credit scores to the unbanked consumers who currently do not have access to formal credit. We target emerging markets worldwide, with the initial focus on Southeast Asia and India. In Vietnam, Trusting Social currently provides credit scores to 60 million Vietnamese consumers. Our customers include some of the largest banks and consumer finance institutions (FIs) in Vietnam. Having commercialized our solution in Vietnam, we are now expanding to other Asian markets including Philippines, Indonesia, India, Thailand and Bangladesh.

In Vietnam, our clients include some of the top banks and consumer finance companies in the country.

We are looking for a passionate, result-driven, long-term thinker senior accountant to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & Reporting:

• Handle daily accounting works eg. AR, AP, billing customers, paying suppliers, etc.
• Reconcile and check bank account
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly and Ad-hoc reports to submit to Senior General Accountant / Finance Manager as schedule or required, included:  Accounting book, Tracking expense & budget, Bank Reconciliation, Master files of data are updated.
• Work with distributor & others parties to check debit notes & credit notes, ensure accurate billing
• Prepares data & Involves in yearly tax finalization and/or any inspections/audit/adhoc requirement
• Updated and reviews/revises guidelines from Government in his/her area of expertise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Prepare Payroll for company staffs
• Work with Reconciliation team to make sure number is right on the reconciliation and all information in invoices are right

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Accounting
• Experience with Quickbook is prefered
• ACCA or equivalent is prefered
• Previous Big 4 experience is prefered
• Excellent English
• Previous experience with startup is prefered
• Good team player who can work independently and diligently
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a dynamic & challenging environment
• Pro-active, meticulous, service-oriented
• Good business acumen, ability to business partner with commercial team without compromising on accounting integrity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Unquestionable personal and business integrity
