JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sustainable Tourism Research Intern will be a valued project team member working on a 6-month Model Development Phase under The Gender Responsive Equitable Agriculture and Tourism (GREAT) Program to strengthen tourism destination management in Son La and Lao Cai provinces, Northwest Vietnam.
The Sustainable Tourism Research Intern will work closely with the project team to research, collate, and analyze stakeholders’ data to support inclusive destination management models at district and provincial levels. The data will be used to enhance and empower targeted responsible EMW-led tourism product development in Son La and Lao Cai Province. This includes national, provincial, and district levels; product identification; EWM target group and community identification; partner identification and support tourism planning for the public and private sectors and other key stakeholders. The Sustainable Tourism Research Intern is also expected to coordinate with various stakeholders for administrative and logistics arrangements of project activities.

• Understanding of sustainable tourism development and market-based approaches
• You have a bachelor's degree in tourism, business, or another relevant field
• Ideally, you have some professional experience in tourism-related practices, either with a consulting firm, international development organization, national government, or destination management company
• Strong research and analytical skills
• The ability to speak and write fluently in Vietnamese and good English is required.

Internships are temporary, project-based positions. A monthly allowance is provided to cover basic expenses. No salary or employee benefits are provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Consultant in our Communications & Public Affairs practice, you will manage a portfolio of development sector clients. You will have high-level responsibility for building client relationships, understanding clients’ needs, gathering and relaying advice on communications strategy, proposing communications programs, and managing campaigns. You will mobilize and supervise resources to support your work. You will make sure that projects stay on-time, on-budget, and on-brief. You will work with clients to make sure that Clickable Impact is not just a vendor on one project but a strategic partner across communications initiatives. You may also supervise at least one junior analyst or associate.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consultant will work across a matrixed team. You will collaborate with your junior team members on client and project management responsibilities. You will collaborate with senior strategists to develop and implement plans and approaches. You will work with a content production team.
Detailed responsibilities are as follows:
1. Client Relationship & Project Management
- Maintain positive client relationships, including timely, appropriate communication and prompt handling of client concerns.
- Analyze needs and requirements, ensuring they are met and promptly communicated to project teams.
- Plan and manage projects for superior outcomes, profitability, and on-time delivery.
- Present progress and deliverables to clients and collect their feedback.
- Take high-level responsibility for configuring new clients and new projects in the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) and project management systems. Keep systems up-to-date with current project data and be prepared to explain data points to management.
- Maintain positive relationships across project teams.
2. Strategic Counsel
- Research and co-author communications strategies.
- Respond to ad hoc client needs, soliciting counsel across the Clickable Impact team.
3. New Business
- Contribute to new business proposals and presentations.
- Contribute to company communications programs to position Clickable Impact for new business opportunities and talent recruitment.

- Master’s degree in communications, marketing, international development, or related field.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in strategic communications with an international development agency, INGO, or working with relevant clients in a consulting or agency setting.
- Demonstrated skills in client and project management.
- Professional fluency and strong writing ability in English.

SALARY
Base salary is negotiable, commensurate with past remuneration and experience. Performance bonuses are offered based on the profitability of your client portfolio.
