• The Strategic Planner will work with the Board of Directors in setting the strategic objectives of any content marketing campaign.
• You will collaborate closely with the account management and creative teams. 

• You will also be required to present your content strategies to clients during new business pitches. 

• Collaborate with Digital Marketing Executive to implement and evaluate campaigns

• Identifying potential problems and devising ways to rectify them

• Liaising with senior members of staff to receive feedback and create improvements to strategies

• You will be the agency’s lead on HubSpot execution and best practice - reporting your latest learnings, trends and technical updates to the rest of the team. 

• As WCC’s go-to strategic planner, you will frequently work on new business prospects with the Managing Director and help pitch We Create Content strategies to clients as part of the sales team. 

• This role will be reporting to the General Director.

• Conduct in-depth research to identify consumer preferences and market opportunities to support content strategies 

• Craft content and inbound marketing strategies for WCC and its clients based on business objectives and SMART Goals 

• Absorbing client brief to understand their business objectives

• Defining keywords - SEO strategy

• Overseeing client interviews to develop pain point SEO

• Auditing existing content to improve Google rankings

• Working with the Brand Editor to produce content and inbound marketing strategies for We Create Content and its client portfolio.

• Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to set and reach KPIs that will mean client success and, essentially, retainer renewals 

• Oversee seamless execution of content and inbound marketing strategies by working closely with account management, digital marketing and creative teams

• Track and measure content and inbound marketing outcomes including engagement, leads, sales and ROI and evolve future strategies accordingly 

• Identify link-building opportunities

• Analyse results of social media ad strategies in relation to content promotion and distribution

• Be on top of trends in content and inbound marketing

• Be an indispensable part of the WCC New Business Team by executing research, defining content/ inbound marketing strategies, and presenting to clients

• Champion inbound marketing best practice among agency colleagues

• A proven track record in developing strategic plans that benefit the client

• Ability to get on with projects, take initiative, ownership and responsibility

• A research-led and strategic approach to all client briefs  

• Experience in creating content and inbound strategies and pitching them 

• An eye on client budgets to ensure WCC’s strategies are as achievable as they are ambitious 

• Management and collaborative skills to ensure the strategy and best practice is adhered to during execution 

• A good knowledge of the media and different platform and how strategy planning influences it

• First class attention to detail and the hunger to do better, always

• Clear communication both verbally and written, in English and Vietnamese
